In October 2011, POPPYN was downtown as WHYY checking out the incredible youth produced films submitted to the first ever WHYY Youth Media Awards. The videos were on point and the judges recognized the talent of these middle and high school students!

For this Breakin' It Down, Lynsey Graeff spent many days in the Hip-Hop research laboratory (a.k.a. watching YouTube!) to discover the essential components of mainstream rap videos.
